Esports training at E-Sports Academy

WORK WITH US

HELP US CREATE
GREAT ESPORTS
EXPERIENCES

We work with children, young people, schools, teams and events. That means we need people who know gaming – but just as importantly, people who enjoy working with others and taking responsibility.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

FORTNITE COACH

We are currently looking for a Fortnite coach to lead recurring online training sessions for children and young people.

Practical information

  • Type of role: Hourly paid role
  • Hours: Approximately 4–6 hours per week
  • When: Mainly evenings and weekends
  • Location: Primarily online via Discord
  • If you live in the Stockholm area, there may also be opportunities to coach on site at our gaming centre in Gustavsberg.
  • There may be opportunities for more hours as our activities develop.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Because the role involves working with children and young people, we will ask the successful applicant to provide an extract from the Swedish police criminal records register before starting the role.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You do not need to be a professional player. What matters is that you have strong knowledge of Fortnite and can help younger players understand, practise and improve.

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have strong knowledge of Fortnite
  • You can explain things clearly and adapt to different players
  • You are responsible, reliable and comfortable leading a group
  • You enjoy working with children and young people
  • You can communicate in a positive and constructive way

EXPERIENCE THAT IS USEFUL

Previous experience as a youth leader, teacher, coach or in another role involving children and young people is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.

Knowledge of esports coaching, competitive Fortnite or organised team environments is also valuable.

INTERESTED?

Tell us a little about yourself, your experience with Fortnite and why you would like to coach children and young people.

WORKING WITH US

MORE THAN GAMING KNOWLEDGE

Knowing the game matters, but being a good coach or leader requires more than that.

The people who work with us need to be able to create a positive environment, explain things clearly, adapt to different levels and help participants feel part of the group.

Reliability matters too. Our activities depend on leaders who arrive prepared, take responsibility and follow through on what has been agreed.

QUALITIES WE VALUE

  • PEDAGOGICAL You can explain, demonstrate and adapt what you are doing to the person or group in front of you.
  • RESPONSIBLE You take ownership of your role, arrive prepared and understand that others rely on you.
  • POSITIVE You contribute to an environment where participants feel welcome and enjoy being part of the activity.
  • KNOWLEDGEABLE You know your game or area well and are willing to keep learning.

FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES

OTHER ROLES THAT MAY BECOME AVAILABLE

Our activities change over time, and we are always interested in meeting people with relevant skills and experience.

Esports coaches

Coaches for different games, levels and training formats.

Activity leaders

Leaders for school holiday activities, after-school gaming, LANs and other activities for children and young people.

Event staff

People who can help with gaming events, tournaments, equipment and participants on site.

Technical staff

People with practical knowledge of gaming PCs, networks, peripherals and event technology.
