THE CLUB
Spawn Point is a nonprofit esports club in Värmdö for children, young people and adults who want to play together, improve and take part in organised esports.
WHY WE EXIST
GAMING IS BETTER WHEN YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BELONG
Gaming is a major interest for many children, young people and adults, but much of it takes place at home and online.
Spawn Point exists to create more opportunities to meet around that interest – in recurring training groups, open activities, teams and other forms of organised gaming and esports.
The goal is to create a club where there is room for both community and development, whether you mainly want to play with others or have more competitive ambitions.

WHY A CLUB?
MORE THAN JUST A PLACE TO PLAY
A club creates opportunities to build something together over time.
Instead of every activity standing on its own, members can become part of a wider community with recurring groups, leaders, teams and opportunities to get involved in how the club develops.
For us, organised esports is not only about becoming better at a game. It is also about meeting others, taking responsibility, learning to work as part of a group and helping create a positive environment around gaming.
ORGANISED ESPORTS
PART OF ORGANISED SPORT IN SWEDEN
Spawn Point is affiliated with the Swedish Esports Federation.
The Swedish Esports Federation became a member of the Swedish Sports Confederation in 2023, making esports part of Sweden's organised sports movement.
For Spawn Point, this means being part of a wider structure for organised esports and club development in Sweden.

TWO SEPARATE ORGANISATIONS THAT WORK TOGETHER
Spawn Point and E-Sports Academy are two separate organisations. Spawn Point is an independent nonprofit club, while E-Sports Academy runs the gaming centre in Gustavsberg.
Spawn Point runs parts of its activities at the gaming centre, and the organisations work together around the venue, equipment and practical arrangements.
