Fortnite is often played with friends online, but being part of a recurring training group creates a different kind of experience.
Participants get to know the people they play with, practise communication and have a leader who helps the group move forward.
For some, the main goal is simply to have fun and find more people to play with. Others want to train more deliberately and improve specific parts of their game.
Movement, aim, building, editing and becoming more confident with the controls.
Taking better fights, using cover, creating advantages and understanding where to position yourself.
Knowing when to move, when to take a fight and how to make better decisions as the match develops.
Sharing useful information, playing with teammates and learning how to make decisions together.
Not every Fortnite player wants the same thing from a training group.
Some participants mainly want a social setting where they can play with others and enjoy the game. For players who want more structure, training can focus more on mechanics, game sense, fights and decision-making.
The format is adapted to the group rather than expecting every participant to have the same goals.
Depending on the current group, Fortnite training may take place at the gaming centre in Gustavsberg, online via Discord or in a hybrid format. The current format is always shown with each training group.
